ALR Projector Screens in Dubai

ALR stands for Ambient Light Rejecting. The surface is engineered with microscopic optical layers that reflect the projector's light back to the viewer while absorbing light coming from windows, ceiling downlights and lamps. The result is a much brighter, higher-contrast image in a room that is not fully blacked out.

Choose ALR if your room has ambient light, light-coloured walls, or if you watch during the day. A standard matte white 1.0-gain screen is still the best choice for a dedicated, fully darkened cinema room because it preserves the most accurate colour and viewing angle.

ALR usually refers to long-throw ambient light rejecting surfaces that work with projectors placed several metres away. CLR (Ceiling Light Rejecting) is a special ALR type designed for ultra-short-throw laser TVs. CLR rejects light from above, which is the main problem in most living rooms.

Yes, but choose the right type. Long-throw ALR fabrics are made for standard-throw home cinema and business projectors. UST CLR fabrics are made specifically for ultra-short-throw laser TVs and should not be used with long-throw projectors.
